The Modern Wonders of the World

Eiffel Tower in Paris, France



This striking piece of structure was built between 1887 and 1889 and designed by Engineer Gustave Eiffel. This is one of the tallest structures in the world but not anymore until the arrival of Chrysler Buyilding in NY. More than With 6 million people visitor's a year, It symbolizes Europe and being a crowed drawer this is the reason why people go to Paris.








CN Tower, Toronto,Canada

For 30 consecutive years the CN Tower maintained its Guinness book of record as the "World's Free-Standing Structure" (1,815 feet, 5 inches tall). It is one of the modern wonders of the World and yet I have not been there myself considering that I live in Greater Toronto Area. Facts said that it has 1776 metal staircase to the Lookout level, and 2,579 steps by the SkyPod. The fastest climber Brendan Keevoy took only 7 minutes and 52 seconds in 1989.
